This Randy Pausch is amazing (may his soul rest in peace). I use IS and not WAS because he IS and always be.
I can’t remember, how did I come across this professor in the first place. I remember I watched his last lecture on youtube again and again. I even quoted his lecture because I really like it. Every time I hit the brick walls, I always remember “his advice”. I remember I was crying when I read the news the he passed away. I wouldn’t say that he finally gave up because he never does. He just reached the end of his journey.
His last lecture reminds me of my childhood’s dreams. It is impressive to see that you can achieve whatever thing that you have dreaming about, even though it seems impossible in the beginning. Impossible is nothing. Beyond that, you can also help other peoples to achieve their dreams.
I bought his book (and CD) to which has been translated to Bahasa Indonesia for a reason. I want my family and friends can also read it and –hopefully- being inspired too. Good things have to be disseminated and I am pleased to be part of the process.
“The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us chance to show how badly we want something”

Ya… aku pernah mendengar dan mengikuti berita sekilas tentang dia.
Satu pelajaran yang kuambil adalah, ia tak pernah tak memanfaatkan sesempit apapun hidup.
God bless his soul..
